Rank One
In this project we were asked to help the company Rank One continue iterations on their existing web application. They wanted to add features and make the ones already in place better. Rank One is a forum site where gamers can find likeminded people to share their interest with, and therefore we wanted to make it possible to start the games that was installed on the users computer through Rank Ones web application.
Programs used: Adobe XD and Photoshop
My part in this project was prototyping in Adobe XD
We added a new tab called Forums, which would be more focused on creating topics (think Reddit) and writing comments about said topics to create discussions. Another feature we added was a Friend list, where you could add people you enjoyed chatting with to keep in touch.
End Results
We worked with the company during the entire process, and ended with a presentation, where they told us that we had very ambitious thoughts about the web application / web site, that it would be difficult to introduce, for example, the ´´Start your game through this application´´ part, since they would need to talk to all publishers / developers for it to work. But they liked the style of the application.
We really liked the ideas we had for this application, but at the same time we understood that it would be a difficult process to implement all of the changes we had added.
